In Ecuador there was great energy in our hiking group.
It was challenging to keep up with adventure mountain
climbers ages 25, 26, 48, 49 and my 67 year old husband as well
as the mountain guides who were 35-45 years old.
I realized how powerfully I have trained and yet I'm slower
than those young people. Psychologically it's a battle NOT being
first or not being best. I have to fight "not good enough" feelings.
Climbing snow-capped glacier volcanoes was a huge opportunity for growth.
